This book immediately transported me to the glamorous, fabulous opening weekend at Island Home. The setting was vivid, the atmosphere was tense, and I was hooked from the first page.
The characters were slightly difficult to follow. I’m used to each chapter being in different POVs, but in this book, there were several POVs in each chapter. Until I figured out who was who, I found myself flipping back to previous chapters for reminders.
